ZHBC Celebrates Successful Graduates at Closing Party in Illnau-Effretikon

The Zurich baker’s and confectioner’s association ZHBC celebrated its new branch people at the closing party in Illnau-Effretikon:

65 candidates, of which 21 confectioners EFZ and 3 with additional training Confiserie EFZ, 19 bakers-confectioners EFZ and 22 bakers-confectioners EBA have achieved their goal, a successful degree. Of these, 6 candidates have developed the qualification process as a bilingual degree.

The framework conditions are also decisive for every success. With this in mind, vocational trainers and guests were also invited to this celebration. In their opening speeches, ZHBC President Peter Lyner and Examination Chairman Andreas Stricker thanked all companies and the vocational school that made the training possible, as well as the young people who had worked hard to achieve the goals throughout the apprenticeship.

To get in the mood, everyone present could enjoy some QV impressions as photo editing by Ursina Meier (OK QV celebration) and Rafael Küng (chief expert). Slight smiles, relief and amazement were clearly visible on some faces and the tension built up a little more while waiting for the award and the announcement of the grades. Regina von Däniken, who has been the chief expert for many years, was thanked by her successor Raphael Küng for her great work and said goodbye.

Dan White then took the stage with a second show act of magic and comedy. A touch of illusion and comedy enchanted the audience in the packed hall and some thought they saw through the trick. Or not? It doesn’t matter, everyone let themselves be carried away enthusiastically and the grand finale was approaching.

The awards were moderated by Rafael Küng. Each discipline was called onto the stage together and was captured there in a group picture by the photographer Jantina Bachmann before the best achievements were honored individually.

Ursina Meier presented lavish bouquets of flowers on behalf of the ZHBC and distributed 2,700 Glatttaler among the winners.
