He pointed out that according to the Basic Law and the Civil Service Code, upholding the Basic Law, loyalty to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China, loyalty to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and responsibility to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government are the consistent responsibilities and commitments of civil servants. Zhang Jianzong said that the SAR government has introduced arrangements for newly recruited civil servants. So far, more than 3,000 new civil servants have completed this procedure.
