ZF North America joins the SmartWay Transport Partnership program, laying the foundation for identifying and collecting the data needed to quantify emissions-related benefits.
This partnership builds on the manufacturer’s recent membership in DTE Energy’s MIGreenPower renewable energy program, which allows companies to allocate a percentage of their electricity consumption to wind and solar projects.
ZF is committed to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2040.
Among its emissions-reducing products is the OptiFlow AutoTail aerodynamic trailer tail, which automatically extends and retracts.
SmartWay was established in 2004.
