For its part, the Minister of Health, Ximena Aguilera, He stressed that “as the director of Fonasa said, one of the great challenges we have as a health system is to reduce living spending, the risk of impoverishment that people have and that universal health access and coverage become a reality. . , that the right to health is a reality, that it is closer to the person and that having a share in the payment does not represent an obstacle to access to these treatments “.
This program contemplates the gratuitousness of all the benefits of the Auge-GES Plan for its beneficiaries, such as emergencies, hospitalization, medications, prosthetics, dental and mental care, as well as special programs for bariatric surgery, in vitro fertilization, among others.
Zero Participation becomes effective when they are treated at a health center of the Public Health Network, otherwise if treated in a private area they must pay the bonus corresponding to medical treatment.
