Zendaya Rocks Traditional Designer Sari in Honor of India with a Modern Twist

In honor of India, Zendaya wore a traditional designer sari Rahul Mishra in interpretation. A gold beaded bodice and a fluttering embroidered skirt complete the modern sari silhouette.

“The hem of her dress depicts a jungle with tigers, squirrels and flamingos in their natural habitat as they look up at the midnight sky,” Mishra tells Vogue. “It’s the way our world looks at space at night to experience its beauty.”
