Zendaya Opens Up About Her Changing World and Relationship with Tom Holland: Exclusive Interview

In a recent interview with Elle, superstar Zendaya says that her world has changed enormously in recent years.

– After the last “Spider-Man” film and the last season of “Euphoria”, I really felt the difference, says the American star to the magazine.

Zendaya has also received a lot of attention for her relationship with her British Spider-Man co-star Tom Holland.

In 2022, she filmed her upcoming film “Challengers” in Boston, where she plays a tennis pro, writes CNN. The film will be released in cinemas in 2024.

In Boston, she really noticed how her celebrity status has changed, she says.

– Before, I could get away with going out to various places, and getting in and out, but in Boston I ended up just going straight home because it was too much, she says, and says that she turned down the offer about joining the rest of the film crew after the recording.

– I wanted to say that “it would have been nice, but I think I would have ended up ruining the evening for everyone. It’s just not going to be fun when I’m there.”

Although the world has long since realized that Zendaya and Tom Holland are a couple, they have chosen to be very private about their relationship.

As early as 2017, it was speculated whether Zendaya and Holland had become lovers, but a formal confirmation from the couple themselves has taken some time.

However, it was interpreted as a kind of confirmation when Zendaya wrote to Holland last year on his birthday:

«Happy birthday to the person who makes me the happiest».

Holland, for his part, last year described Zendaya as “the most incredible person”, also in writing Instagram.

To Elle, Zendaya says that she has come to terms with the fact that parts of her life will be publicly available to everyone, but that she has deliberately chosen to keep something out of the spotlight.

– I can’t help being a person, living my life and loving the one I love. But I have control over what I choose to share, she says.

– It’s about protecting the peace you have, but also about not being afraid to live. You can’t hide. It’s no fun, either, and I have to navigate these waters much more than before, she says.
