The journalism program Zembla can now be seen on Sunday evenings at 10:10 PM on NPO2. Broadcaster BNNVARA announced this on Tuesday. The program was shown earlier on Thursday evening.
Zembla is moving because the NPO wants to turn Sunday evening into “an investigative journalistic evening”, a BNNVARA spokesperson said when asked.
According to her, it was decided “in close consultation with the broadcasters involved” that except for Sunday evening News hour alternate the programs Backlight (VPRO), Frontline (VPRO), Medialogica (HUMAN/VPRO) and Zembla (BNNVARA) can be seen.
The first episode of Zembla in 2024 will be broadcast next Sunday. The position of migrant workers in the Netherlands is central. On Sunday, February 11, there will be a broadcast about how the fire brigade deals with post-traumatic stress disorder.
In March there will be an episode about a headache file for the municipality of Ermelo, where millions of ducks are slaughtered every year in a local duck slaughterhouse.
