Ouraika wins with courage in the Sweet Life St. (Gr.3) at Santa Anita
Under the coat of his breeder Khalifa Mohammed Al Attiya, Ouraika had shown great things in France, at the time trained at Mont de Marsan by the formidable Didier Guillemin. 2nd for her debut, then winner of her maiden, she was spotted by Nicolas de Watrigantwho acquired her amicably following her 4th place in a class 2. She then left for the United States with Graham Motion, classic trainer in the land of Uncle Sam, where he won 2 Kentucky Derbys.
