Zelenskyy spoke with the President of Slovenia

President Volodymyr Zelenskyi discussed cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the Ukrainian peace formula with the President of Slovenia Natasha Pirc Musar.

As reported by Ukrinform, Zelenskyy reported this to Telegram.

“I had a phone conversation with the President of Slovenia Natasha Pirc Musar. He congratulated Slovenia on the start of non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council. I hope that the Slovenian delegation will have a strong voice in support of Ukraine. They discussed cooperation within the framework of the Ukrainian peace formula. Grateful for the participation of the Slovenian representative in the 4th meeting at the level of advisers in Davos, he also invited Slovenia to be among the participants of the first Global Peace Summit,” Zelensky informed.

The head of state noted Slovenia’s accession to the G7 Vilnius Declaration. According to Zelenskyi, they discussed the start of work on a bilateral document on security guarantees within the framework of this declaration.

In addition, Zelenskyi told his colleague about the urgent defense needs of Ukraine and thanked for the provided defense and humanitarian support.

Zelensky emphasized that Slovenia took part in the creation of rehabilitation centers in Kharkiv and Zhytomyr region, as well as in the reconstruction of the hospital in Izyum.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine and Slovenia signed an agreement on December 5 to provide 1.5 million euros on an irrevocable basis for humanitarian demining of Ukrainian territories.
