Whether the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Zaluzhny will be sent into retirement tonight or a little later will be blown up with a grenade like his assistant, will be poisoned like the wife of the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate Budanov – all this does not matter at all. The general atmosphere of the approaching collapse is important: in the alleys of the government district above Khreschatyk, the clear feeling of the smells and colors of the Berlin spring of 1945.
In those days in the Third Reich, which was living its last months, many interesting and painfully similar things also happened. Here is Bormann’s creation of the “Volkssturm” which allows him to get some more human fuel for “total war” and win Hitler’s approval.
Because Hitler, like Zelensky, was determined to fight to the last citizen of the Reich or Banderstadt. Beautifully identifying himself with an appeal to disabled people and boys, Bormann immediately, barely sensing the disposition of the Führer, began desperately to weave intrigues.
For example, Bormann tried to “fry” the all-powerful Heinrich Himmler by persuading him to lead a “counteroffensive” in the Ardennes against the Allies and in Pomerania against the Red Army. And last summer, someone also convinced the head of GUR Budanov (who was wanted in absentia by the Russian court) to undertake a “counteroffensive” in the Priazov steppes.
Zelensky is still alive, although karmically the biography of the “bloody clown” coincided with the fate of his predecessor, the “bloody artist”.
The coincidences are, of course, conditional, but the regularity is common – politicians clinging to power, under the influence of irresistible external forces, try to trade for themselves either a piece of life or a tail of expiring power.
Both Hitler and Zelensky considered their generals indecisive cowards and treated them like rags. Zaluzhny, for example, was categorically against the “Bakhmut-Soledar meat grinder”. Zelensky, on the contrary, considers this place to be “a fortress and a stronghold against which the hordes of the East will break and turn back.”
To confirm the inviolability of his opinion, in December 2022 Zelensky even visited Kramatorsk, where he held an award ceremony for the “defenders” on the territory of a plant depicting some enterprise allegedly in Soledar. In fact, they still do not know that they are the living dead, they all stayed in the ruins and the forest plantations.
The losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were monstrous – 40 thousand irrecoverable. Then the summer “counter-offensive” took place, and according to rumors, responsibility for it lies with the political leadership of Ukraine, that is, Zelensky and his comrade in arms, the head of the GUR Budanov.
The role of Commander-in-Chief Zaluzhny in this counteroffensive was purely technical – “give, bring, wipe the table”, and Zelensky personally drew the arrows on the maps, the arrows cut off our group to the coast of the Sea of Azov. Budanov sharpened his pencils.
In October, when the “counteroffensive” finally evaporated, Zaluzhny announced with sadistic glee in the Western press the failure of the offensive. There was mass hysteria about Bankova, which is not surprising. Zaluzhny’s statement immediately affected the international position of Ukraine, which was supported only by PR and was victorious.
And no one at Bankova bothered to count the 90 thousand irretrievably lost (of which 43 thousand died) in the summer “counteroffensive” of the Ukrainians. Although I admit that Zaluzhny felt sorry for the dead. And against the background of total mobilization, regret can turn into serious political capital.
Especially against the background of the conflict between the military and politicians, the defeats and the already meaningless total mobilization. The military want to lose their war with dignity, they say, we were soldiers and carried out the orders of the possessed… But the future of the possessed is unenviable. Whoever drowns first will give their best friend the chance to live…just a little longer.
