Zelensky said that all relevant services were involved in the removal of debris in the Dnieper. He thanked everyone who is carrying out the rescue operation, in particular the State Emergency Service, the police, the National Guard, public utilities, as well as doctors and volunteers – ordinary Dnipro people who help.
At the moment, the fate of more than 30 people who could be in the house at the time of the hit by the terrorists’ rockets remains unknown. Dozens of people were rescued from the rubble, including 6 children. We fight for every person! The rescue operation will last as long as there is even the slightest chance of saving a life,
the President noted.
He added that as of 20:52, there were 30 people on the list of the dead, including one child, a girl who was 15 years old.
“There are reports that two children were left without parents. My condolences to all those who lost their loved ones … In the time that has passed since this attack, Ukraine has heard words of compassion, support from many leaders, public figures, journalists and ordinary people from different countries peace,” the head of state said.

“It is very important that normal people unite in response to terror,” the president stressed.

Zelensky spoke about the sanctions against the minions of the Kremlin
The President considers it right that today there is a decision to expand sanctions against Russian citizens and other persons who help terror.
Almost 200 – this is a carefully prepared list, and for each name there is a responsible motivation. Those who justify terror. Those who oil the Russian propaganda machine. Those who tried to sell Ukraine somewhere in Moscow. This public will receive a complete list of personal restrictions. We will do everything to ensure that the sanctions operate on the largest possible scale – in Europe, in the world,
Zelensky stressed.
According to him, the responsibility for terror will be for everyone: for those who kill, and for those who help to kill. The work of the National Security and Defense Council on the sanctions lists continues, and the next decisions will be made soon.
The head of state, as every day, thanked the Ukrainian soldiers – all those who:
- heroically and steadfastly performs combat missions,
- holds our positions, especially on the most difficult sectors of the front.
“The battle for Soledar, for Bakhmut, for the entire Donetsk region, for the Lugansk region continues without any respite, without any stop. Thanks to each of our fighters, each of our soldiers, sergeants, officers who understand how important it is to destroy the occupiers in this particular direction,” the president said.
He added that Russia has made the battle for the cities of the Ukrainian Donbass a matter of principle for itself. Our heroes, on the other hand, make it fundamental for the destruction of the combat potential of a terrorist state. Every day of Ukrainian resilience in the Donbas and every success we have in defense there are vital achievements for the defense of the entire state.
