“We are left alone to defend our country. Who is ready to fight next to us? I do not see anyone,” said the Ukrainian head of state.
He was critical of the West: “I asked the 27 EU leaders directly if they would accept Ukraine into NATO. Everyone is afraid to answer. But we are not afraid, we are not afraid of anything. We are not afraid to defend our country, to talk to Russia, to talk about security guarantees for our country. But what guarantees will we receive? And most importantly, which countries will provide them to us? “
