The president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, made a new appeal for the immediate dispatch of military aid this evening, stressing that Kiev needs immediate weapons and not promises.
“On-time delivery is key right now. Some packages (including military aid) have been announced and passed, but have not yet been delivered to Ukraine. “The forces at the front are fighting with shells and equipment, not with words like ‘tomorrow’ or ‘soon,'” the Ukrainian president said in a video message.
Referring to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Kiev, Zelensky said it was important that “India continues to uphold international law, to uphold our national sovereignty and territorial integrity.”
