Volodymyr Zelensky thanked Kyriakos Mitsotakis for his visit to Odessa, which he described as “brave”. The president of Ukraine pointed out in his post that “We must not allow Russia to bully our countries.”
Zelensky’s message reads in detail: “Thank you for your constant support and your brave visit to Odessa, dear Mr. Mitsotakis. We must not allow Russia to bully our countries or Europe in general. We can prevent it and restore peace by acting decisively together.”
Thank you for your firm support and brave visit to Odesa, dear @KMitsotakis. We must not allow Russia to intimidate our countries or Europe as a whole. We can deter it and restore peace by acting decisively together.

Mitsotakis’ message to Putin
We remind you that during his speech at the conference of the European People’s Party held on Thursday in Bucharest, Kyriakos Mitsotakis referred to the attack that took place during his presence in Odessa.
In fact, he had sent a clear message to Putin’s side: «In this dark hour of Europe with the war in Ukraine we have shown our determination in supporting Ukraine against this war with a united front, which our enemies perhaps did not expect. So we continue to support Ukraine financially, militarily, we have taken sanctions against Russia and we are sending the message that no violation of territorial sovereign rights and international law will be accepted by the European family.
I was in Odessa yesterday with President Zelensky when a Russian missile hit the port, when we had visited it, and I think we really should have only one message to the Kremlin: You will not be afraid of us, we will continue to support Ukraine and its great citizens her for as long as necessary. And of course we will remain completely united in our decision».
