Only the de-occupation of Crimea will help to establish peace in Ukraine and Europe.
This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with the BBC.
According to the president, until Ukraine regains Crimea, there will be no peace on the whole planet.
“I believe there won’t be. There won’t be a normal peace for Ukraine, for Ukrainians, for Europe, for the whole planet,” Zelensky told a journalist.
He also said that in order to end the war, the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country must be upheld on a global scale.
“This means: if we really want to stop the war, we have to find a solution at the global level… we need to support all thisthe sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country.

“I think the president Putin still wants to occupy Kyiv. But their ideas, mission and hope affect all of Ukraine.
For losing our independence and sovereignty.
And that’s why I think everyone understood: if you can’t occupy the capital, if you can’t occupy Kiev, you can’t occupy Ukraine,” Zelensky said when asked if Kiev was still under threat.
