President Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky confirms that he will continue to do everything he can to inflict the greatest possible loss on Russia who invaded his country. Zelensky also claimed Russia had expected to lose the ongoing fighting in Ukraine.
As reported ReutersMonday (25/7/2022), Russian invasion of Ukraine which began on February 24, has entered its fifth month. With some areas under the control of Moscow’s forces, Zelensky said his country would not submit to Russia.
Zelensky said in a video statement released on Sunday (24/7) evening local time that like every day in recent months, Ukraine will not give up.

“We will do everything to inflict the greatest possible losses on the enemy and gather as much support as possible for Ukraine,” Zelensky said, referring to Russia as an enemy.
In his statement, Zelensky also claimed that Russia itself had predicted defeat in the fighting in Ukraine.
“Even the invaders admit that we will win,” he stressed, referring to Russia.
“We hear it in their conversations all the time. In what they say to their relatives when they call their relatives,” Zelensky added.
