Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that France will supply Kiev with armored vehicles.
According to the information obtained by SIA from Russian websites, the Ukrainian president’s office informed about this after a telephone conversation with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron.
“The speed and specificity of the response is very important, it greatly increases our capabilities. We appreciate France’s confirmation of providing our Armed Forces with a powerful armor package.”
Zelensky said this.
It should be noted that the leaders of Ukraine and France also discussed the preparations for the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius.
It should be recalled that at this summit, strong and specific decisions regarding security guarantees for Ukraine should be made and the procedure of inviting the country to NATO should be started.
By the way, in January of this year, France was the first country to announce the delivery of light-wheeled “AMX-10 RC” tanks to Kyiv. This decision made it possible to forgive the delivery of heavy armored vehicles such as Leopard, Challenger and Abrams tanks to Ukraine.
