The President stressed that strategically Russia has no chance of winning the war with Ukraine.
President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia is moving part of its forces from eastern Ukraine to the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions, but this will not help it.
“Now the Russian army is trying to strengthen its positions in the occupied regions of the south of our country, increasing activity in the corresponding directions. Part of the Russian forces from their positions in the east are being transferred to the south – Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. But this will not help them there. None of the Russian strikes will remains unanswered by our military and intelligence officers. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are ready to respond to any new activity of the occupiers,” the president said in his evening address.
Zelensky also stressed that strategically, Russia has no chance of winning this war.
“And we need to hold on so that the terrorist state feels its defeat at the tactical levels,” he said.
Recall that the Russian occupiers move individual units from Slavyansk to Zaporizhia direction, and also have partial success in the Avdiivka area of Donetsk region, according to the summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 18:00 on July 31.
