Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced that his visual acuity had decreased significantly after the start of the Russian military operation.

The 45-year-old Ukrainian president’s confession came in the documentary “One Year”, in which the author of the film, Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Komarov, interviewed Zelensky in a train compartment.

During the conversation, the Ukrainian president indicated that he could no longer read what was written on the tea bag label.

He added, “I can’t see anything, no matter how hard I try. I’ve lost my sight, it’s a physical problem.”

One reason, Zelensky believes, is that he works a lot, and so do most of the staff in his office when the lighting is poor or almost non-existent.

He said, “Because we did not fully use the lighting. The guards insist that the light in the building be reduced.” He confirmed that the matter continued for several months.

The Ukrainian president said that he does not use lenses and uses glasses at the present time to read.

The documentary film came to monitor the repercussions of the Russian war on Ukraine within a year, and highlighted the secret decisions and moves made by the Ukrainian president in 365 days of battles.
