The president Vladimir Zelensky issued a decree calling for reservists during a special period. We are talking exclusively about citizens assigned to the operational reserve. He said this in his new video message.

Zelensky noted that today the Federation Council gave the right President Vladimir Putin use the armed forces of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
“We are not there” has been replaced by the official “we are still here.” It was adopted unanimously at the highest political level. And it gives a clear answer – who really wants peace on earth and who redistributes the land,” the president said.
With this decision, Russia actually withdrew from the Minsk agreements, he noted.
Regarding security and defense, the president said that there is no need for a general mobilization today. According to him, it is necessary to quickly complete the Ukrainian army and other military formations.
“I, as the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, issued a decree on calling up reservists during a special period. I emphasize that this refers exclusively to citizens assigned to the operational reserve. We must increase the readiness of the Ukrainian army for all possible changes in the operational situation,” Zelensky said.
According to his decision, a training meeting of reservists of the defense system will also be held in the near future.
Zelensky also said that Ukraine is launching a “program of economic patriotism.”
“These are additional incentives for the localization of our production. Targeted programs to support certain industries. Reducing the tax burden on businesses and limiting inspections. These are incentives for attracting household funds to business and the banking system. Reducing VAT on gasoline and diesel. This will reduce prices at gas stations. Our goal is to gain economic independence, especially in the energy sector,” the president said.
Tomorrow, Zelensky said, he will have a meeting with the TOP-50 Ukrainian big business.
“All of them must stay in Ukraine. Their enterprises are located on Ukrainian soil, which is protected by our military. Therefore, business must also protect our economy, finances, create jobs. Raise and strengthen Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
“Ukrainians are a peaceful nation. We want silence. But if we remain silent today, we will disappear tomorrow. Daily hard work awaits us. And we are ready for it. Self-confidence. Confidence in the country. Confidence in victory,” the president added.
