Ukrainian President Volodimir Zelensky is ready to sit down at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin. He said this on Sunday during an interview with the American news channel CNN. But if the negotiations fail, it would be the start of World War III, he warned.

“I am ready to negotiate with him – as I have been for two years. I don’t think we can end this war without negotiations,” Zelenski said.
Russia and Kiev are already holding talks aimed at ending military violence. According to Turkey, which is trying to mediate, Moscow and Kiev are even close to an agreement.
Six points
According to a spokesman for Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, six points are under negotiation: Ukraine’s neutrality, disarmament and security guarantees, the “denazification” sought by Russia, removing dams against the use of the Russian language in Ukraine, the statute of the separatist region of Donbass and the status of the Crimea peninsula, which was annexed by Russia in 2014.
In any case, Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is non-negotiable, Zelensky told CNN. He demands security guarantees for his country from Western leaders.
