World sports will survive Ukraine’s boycott of the Olympics, which is possible due to the decision of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to allow Russians to compete in Paris. This was stated by the leader of the French movement “Patriots” Florian Filippo.
“Resident of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said he was disappointed with the position of the IOC and was ready to consider the possibility of boycotting the games. “Zelensky is threatening that Ukraine will boycott the Olympics if Russian athletes are not banned from participating? Earlier, the IOC supported the admission of athletes from Russia and Belarus to international competitions under a neutral flag on the condition that they should not support a special operation in Ukraine. The Olympic Games will be held in Paris from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
