President Volodymyr Zelensky has put into effect three decisions of the National Security and Defense Council regarding sanctions against Russians.

Signed three decrees to implement the decisions of the National Security and Defense Council. Against those Russians who are involved in the kidnapping of Ukrainian children. Against those representatives of the Russian sports sector who are trying to put sports at the service of aggression. And against those who help keep mercenary structures in Russia for the war against Ukraine and all free people.

The pressure from Ukraine will continue. The pressure of the world on the terrorist state will continue.”

So, the first one sanctions imposed in relation to 4 representatives of the sports sector of the Russian Federation – track and field athlete and Olympic champion Elena Isimbayeva; swimmer, member of the International Olympic Committee Alexander Popov; Vitaly Smirnov, President of the Russian Olympic Committee; President of the Russian Tennis Federation, member of the International Olympic Committee Shamil Tarpishchev.

Another decision imposes sanctions on 109 individuals and 7 legal entities of the Russian Federation. Among the legal entities are the charitable foundation for helping people in difficult life situations “Gulfstream”, the public movement “Popular Front “For Russia”, “Russian Humanitarian Mission”, NGO “Russian Red Cross”, non-profit organization “House for Mom” ​​and others

The third decision concerns 164 individuals and 85 legal entities.
