A state that commits war crimes should not be a permanent member of the UN Security Council, said the Ukrainian president

In five days, Russia fired 56 missiles and fired 113 cruise missiles, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was quoted as saying by Reuters and BTA.

“After the bombing of Kharkiv, it is time for the West to consider a no-fly zone for Russian missiles, planes and helicopters,” he said.

Zelensky noted that today’s talks between Russia and Ukraine took place against the backdrop of the bombing of Ukrainian cities and territories. “A state that commits war crimes should not be a permanent member of the UN Security Council,” he said.

Zelensky also called for blocking Russia’s access to all ports and airports in the world, AFP reported.
