President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, during a working trip to the Donetsk region, held a meeting on the security situation and the readiness of the defense forces to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. About it informs press service of the Office of the President.
It is noted that the meeting participants heard a report by the commander of the Joint Forces Alexander Pavlyuk on the operational situation in the JFO zone.
And the chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration Pavel Kirilenko and the chairman of the Lugansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Gaidai reported on the process of formation of territorial defense units and the security situation in the regions.
Zelensky noted the importance of countering Russian propaganda, paying particular attention to the growing influence of the Ukrainian media among residents of eastern Ukraine.
