President Volodymyr Zelensky conferred the title of Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star to Lieutenant General Oleksandr Pavlyuk, Commander of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO). This is stated in decree dated 4 March.
By another decree, the President awarded the highest military rank to General Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Zelensky also awarded the rank of Brigadier General to Colonel Artem Bogomolov, Deputy Commander of the Operational Command West of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
