Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has imposed National Security and Defense Council sanctions against the Russian online retailer Wildberries, its founders and executives. Also, sanctions were introduced against the “DPR representation” in France. About it informs press service of the Office of the President.

“According to Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree: to put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated July 16, 2021 On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions),” the message says.

The decree comes into force on the day of its publication.

In particular, sanctions were introduced against the Russian Wildberries LLC, its branches in Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Armenia and other countries.

The sanctions imply the blocking of assets, the termination of the transit of resources, flights and transportation through the territory of Ukraine, the prevention of the withdrawal of capital from Ukraine, the suspension of the fulfillment of economic and financial obligations, the termination of the provision of telecommunications services, including the blocking of the Wildberries website.

The sanctions targeted four executives of the company, whose assets will be blocked.

Also, sanctions were introduced against the French organization, the Official Representative Center of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” in France and its founder, French citizen Fayard Gerall-Hubert.

The Association of the Representative Office of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” in France was also included in the sanctions list.

French citizen Nean Christel, who, as noted, lives in Donetsk and is the founder of the Doni International Press Center, also fell under the sanctions.

All these sanctions are established for three years.
