The head of state instructed NSDC Secretary Alexei Danilov to convene a meeting after his report on December 24.
At first, the NSDC meeting was called on December 29, but the day before it was postponed to December 30. As the NSDC staff explained, it was decided to postpone the meeting due to the expansion of the agenda.
“Due to the fact that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expanded the list of issues that are included in the agenda of the NSDC meeting, the meeting will take place on December 30, 2021,” the NSDC staff said.
According to an informed source of RBK-Ukraine, they will consider:

- the epidemiological situation in the country.
Another interlocutor said that the meeting is scheduled for 15:00. At the same time, none of the interviewed sources involved in the preparation of the meeting could say whether the NSDC would introduce new sanctions.
The last meeting of the NSDC was held on November 10, 2021. It mainly concerned the situation with migrants on the border of Belarus with the EU countries.
