The President had in mind the general statistics on the dead when he announced information about nine hundred deaths in the region.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky let slip, telling reporters about the mass graves in the Kiev region.
This was announced in a commentary to UNIAN by the presidential press secretary Sergei Nikiforov.
“The president did not separate the two theses intonation. The first is that today a new mass grave was indeed found near Bucha, it is being investigated now. Second: 900 is the approximate number of bodies found in that area,” he said.
Irina Pryanishnikova, press secretary of the Kyiv region police, earlier in the comment “Suspilny“said that President Zelensky probably misspoke or had in mind the general statistics on the dead when he announced a new mass grave in the Kiev region.
Recall that in an interview with the Polish media, President reported another mass grave near civilians in the Kyiv region.
“There were so many killed that despite the fact that they burned, they have now again found the grave of 900 people in the Kyiv region. No one knows how many people died in general,” he said.
As UNIAN wrote, two mass graves with the bodies of nine Ukrainian civilians killed by Russian invaders.
In Irpen after the expulsion of the invaders hundreds of new graves appeared and a whole cemetery of destroyed cars.
Near Mariupol found several mass graveseach of which is up to 30 meters in size.
