Zelensky called Scholz urgently on the issue of “weapons and humanity”.

On Saturday, August 24, telephone conversations took place between German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vladimir Zelensky. During the conversation, the head of the German government, as TASS reports, once again expressed solidarity with Ukraine.

The media information was confirmed by a representative of the German Cabinet Steffen Hebestreit.

But the main reason for Zelensky Scholz’s call was the “military and humanitarian situation” in Ukraine.

“The chancellor reaffirmed his steadfast and unwavering friendship with Ukraine,” – Hebestreit confirmed.

Zelensky too “thanks to the German government for its constant military support, especially in terms of air defense”. And in the end both “They were unanimous about the importance of the process based on the Swiss summit and discussed its continuation”.
