Only half a percent of the vaccinated Ukrainians complained about the side effects of vaccination, they say in the OP.
In Ukraine, side effects from the COVID vaccine CoviShield were recorded in 0.5% of vaccinated people – all the “side effects” were mild. About it stated Presidential Press Secretary Yulia Mendel in the program Vzglyad s Bankova on Dom channel on Sunday, March 21.
“Fever, weakness – these are side effects, quite simple and short-lived, they were counted in Ukraine as 0.5% and everything is in a mild form,” Mendel said.
A presidential spokeswoman recalled that Ukrainians are being vaccinated with CoviShield, manufactured under license from AstraZeneca. WHO and European Vaccine Regulator confirm AstraZeneca does not cause blood clots, Mendel said
“In Europe, 17 million people have been vaccinated with this particular vaccine, and only about 40 people have blood clots. In other words, one case per 0.5 million vaccinations,” explained Yulia Mendel.
In her opinion, the AstraZeneca vaccine “got the most” among the most popular drugs in terms of informatics, since this drug is one of the most affordable.
Recall that the day before, less than 4 thousand Ukrainians were vaccinated against COVID… On Saturday, 7660 vaccinations were given less than the previous day. 134 mobile teams were vaccinated.
EU cannot share COVID vaccines yet
