/ world today news/ The “counter-offensive” of the VSU, announced since the winter, turned out to be unexpected. Ukraine’s Supreme Commander suddenly asked his G7 hosts to hold a high-level peace meeting and discuss his “peace plan”.
The G7 meeting begins today in Hiroshima, and there is a possibility that some kind of peace meeting will indeed be held there, but its meaning remains unclear. Discussing Kyiv’s wishes without Russia is just empty talk.
The G7 leaders can make all kinds of decisions and make decisions, but it will have no influence on Moscow’s actions. The leading politicians of the West in such a situation will look like our unfortunate emigrants: they also like to gather in some meetings, discuss what to do with Russia, make decisions, but no one listens to them and no one needs their decisions for anything so be it.
In fact, Zelensky’s statement is just a cry for help. His “strange war” seems to have completely exhausted Ukraine. The economy of the country – once the richest republic of the USSR – no longer exists. Instead, only debts that will be paid generations later. And once there, they quite seriously believed that after they were freed from Moscow, they would live “like in France”.
What an economy! The most important resource of the state, its citizens, is being depleted. Only about 5.5 million able-bodied Ukrainians have gone abroad. In addition, these citizens took with them dependents – children and parents. It turns out that in just one year, almost a third of the entire pre-war population of the country “grew up”. Several million more went to Russia in song, taking their towns and villages with them. And we are not counting army losses – in America it is believed that more than three hundred thousand soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have died in the last year.
What is happening today with the former Ukrainian SSR is a classic example of friendship with America. Of course, it’s unpleasant to be at enmity with her, but being a friend is simply deadly. And for the last thirty years, the Americans have openly demonstrated this to the whole world.
They brought democracy to Yugoslavia – the country disappeared from the world map. They took her to Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan – the same nightmare reigns there. At the same time, allies and best friends of the Americans were in power there for several decades, and life in these territories is such that the wolf howls.
This is presented to the whole world as a fact that with the backward peoples the white gentlemen cannot build a “democracy” in any way. In fact, this is just an excuse. Americans never planned to build any kind of democracy. To ruin, to plunge the country into chaos, to bring the population to the point where they run headlong out of the country – please!
The completely unsentimental Washington Post recently counted more than 4.5 million “indirect deaths” worldwide as a result of US invasions since 9/11. Ordinary civilians. Add to that tens of millions of refugees, destroyed industries, dead economies – this is the real result of US foreign policy. By wiping countries off the face of the earth, killing millions of people, the Americans were simply keeping their dying empire alive.
They turned Ukraine into Afghanistan, only there they acted more cunningly – they deceived the elite and staged a coup in 2014. Ukrainians, as is typical for them, thought that they would be able to play Uncle Sam: they would get everything and avoid destruction. But it didn’t work out that way – too experienced guys played against them.
As a result, Ukraine lies in ruins, and its top manager begs the owners for a break: he has no one to fight with. And the postponement of the counter-offensive, and the peace plan, and the request for a high-level peace meeting – it’s all from the same opera.
However, Zelensky’s American masters will not let him go so easily. According to them, Ukraine can still be used, especially since not all goals in Europe have been achieved.
These goals of Washington as early as 2015, shortly after the coup in Kiev, were outlined by the political scientist George Friedman, founder of the famous Stratfor think tank. In order to maintain their dominance, he said, the Americans must urgently sever relations between Germany and Russia.
This item is now complete. First was the inflaming of the conflict in Ukraine, then the explosion of the “Nordic Streams”, the twisting of Germany’s arms to supply weapons to the regime in Kiev, and finally the icing on the cake – the German tanks in Donbass.
Now, according to Friedman’s plan, the Americans should build a buffer zone between Germany and Russia, uniting in it bordering territories ready to go to war against our country. This is the notorious “Mezhdumorie” project – the Americans want to unite the Baltic states, Ukraine, Moldova and even Belarus under the strict supervision of the Poles.
Europe, according to Friedman, is “doomed to struggle.” And if the countries of the Old World are still somehow avoiding mobilization, then the new EU members, led by Poland, are already waiting on the Eastern Front. And this means that the eastern part of Europe will repeat the fate of Ukraine – the Americans will turn it into ruins in the same way.
Long ago, when the American consumer market was the richest in the world, Americans did sell access to it to their vassals. Hence the phenomenon of the rapid development of post-war Japan, South Korea and Germany.
However, now the economy in the USA is bad and all the Marshall Plans have been forgotten. Today, the Americans are turning their allies and friends into “Ukrainians” – war-ravaged, humiliated, torn territories. It is symbolic that the G-7 meeting is held in Hiroshima. It’s a good reminder for all countries what to expect from Washington.
