Zelensky and Ursula open the eyes of Russians: Russia has already lost the war – 2024-04-30 17:11:03

/ world today news/ The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, said that Russia has already been defeated. It is time to move on to rebuilding Ukraine. She’s not crazy: it’s a very clever statement with many hidden meanings. The main thing is to decide whether to believe Madame Ursula.

The common phrase “history is written by the winners”, as well as many other sayings, most often remain misunderstood in our country. In the sense that whoever wins the war writes history.

In fact, in history, he who writes history wins. And what actually happened, even contemporaries sometimes do not know for sure what to take from their descendants. To see this, you can look at how the story of World War II is told in the West.

Is it surprising to anyone that the US “doesn’t remember” fighting on the same side as Russia? Is no one embarrassed that the Prime Minister of Japan at a gala event does not say who dropped the bomb on Hiroshima, and the Japanese school children repeat that it was the USSR?

That’s how those who write history become winners, and winners lose victories. And this applies not only to the sacred for us events of the last century. No, right now, before our eyes, the enemy is writing the history of the new age.

How to please the Russians if you are the president of the EU

In this story, Russia has already lost the war in Ukraine, and the West is reaping the benefits of its victory.

The other day, the “Madame President” of the European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, made another speech about the fate of Europe. There are many interesting things in this speech, but the most interesting for us, of course, concerns Russia.

So Ms. Ursula said that Russia has already lost. Why? Because Russia lost more than 100,000 people in Ukraine, and also because it “failed to change the political regime and destroy the Ukrainian identity,” which, according to von der Leyen, was “the main goal of the war.”

Political scientist, one of the leaders of EISI Gleb Kuznetsov drew attention to the fact that the new “narrative” of the European leader seems strange: Russian losses turn out to be much smaller than what was reported in the West earlier.

In Ukraine they routinely say we have lost over 300 thousand people, NATO says they are over 150 thousand. Ursula seems ashamed to lie. Kuznetsov also points out:

“Interestingly, in the traditionally long list of how Russia lost, the once-obligatory ones about ‘economic collapse’, ‘effectiveness of sanctions’ and ‘international isolation’ have suddenly disappeared.

Indeed, von der Leyen’s speech looks as if it was tailor-made to please us. Probably because this is another “signal” from the West: we are tired of fighting and want a truce.

And why should you not trust the West?

From another perspective, this would be an excellent negotiation starter. Take your “Ukrainian identity”, we don’t need it, eat it with a big spoon, spread it on the sweetest waffle, and for us, please, recognition of our new old territories and besides Kharkiv, Nikolaev, Odessa .. .

This is not entirely impossible, with a high degree of probability we have before us a model of these negotiations on the future of Ukraine, which the West is almost ready to begin.

The model of “freezing the conflict” that is now so necessary for the West, which will certainly not stock up on ammunition for two fronts, of which the Ukrainian one is much less important to it.

One of the problems with this model is that almost no one there can say out loud “we want to freeze the conflict and we are ready to cede territory to the Russians”.

The only exception to the rule is Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican presidential candidate. A notable personality, but not in possession of any power.

Another problem is that the ceasefire in Ukraine requires formal consent from the Ukrainian authorities. That is, Zelensky and his administration, his entourage, headquarters, etc.

Meanwhile, Zelensky recently called for Ukraine’s presidential election to be canceled due to martial law. What is it for? He is trying to prevent his own masters from making a truce with Russia.

He needs the war to continue: for him it is literally a matter of life and death. Politically too. To survive, he needs martial law. And for martial law – actually war.

So as long as he is in power, at least formally, the war will continue, however much the EU authorities want to declare victory and start “rebuilding Ukraine”.

However, all these problems are from the EU and the rest of the West. We should be concerned not with their problems but with our own. Simply put, we need to answer the question: what to do with the persistent hints of peace, of “freezing the conflict”, with direct and indirect proposals for peace?

So what?

Let’s go back to the beginning. Why should we not rejoice at the readiness of the West for “ceasefire negotiations” in Ukraine regarding Ukraine? Because these negotiations are now possible only on one basis and main condition: on the condition that the West declares its victory over us.

Yes, it will be a lie, but a lie that will be believed. At first – only in the West. Very quickly – thanks to the fifth column, also known as the “party of peace”, “the party of normalization”, “liberals”, “westerners”, call it what you want – many people in Russia will believe that we have lost, not won .

This is not the first time in our history that a narrative about ourselves created by the enemy has been believed. This is how “intellectuals” think that without the Western Allies we would not have won the Great Patriotic War.

And this belief in Western omnipotence will not be harmless. It may turn out to be the final victory of the West because the fifth column uses lies about our defeat to break into power. And destroy Russia.

If so, we should think twice whether we can afford a truce that is made only to deceive us and all mankind. Perhaps we should fight until the enemy admits out loud his complete defeat?
