– They are practically dismantling the entire health system, Zelenskii said in his Friday evening speech.
– The occupiers have decided to close medical institutions in the cities, remove medical equipment, ambulances, everything. They are pressuring doctors who still remain in the occupied territories to move to Russian territory, he said.
This is mainly true in the Kherson region, he said, arguing that Russia is trying to turn the entire area into a no-man’s land without civilization.
Ukrainian leaders often accuse Russians of widespread looting as they withdraw from the areas they have occupied.
Zelenskii also said that 4 million Ukrainians are affected by the planned blackouts following the Russian attacks on the country’s infrastructure.
