The president called for new sanctions against Moscow
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky once again stressed the importance of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of his country in the course of the ongoing negotiations with Russia.
“My priorities in the negotiations are absolutely clear: an end to the war, guarantees of security, sovereignty, restoration of territorial integrity, real protection of our country,” Zelensky said in a video message issued by the Ukrainian presidency.
Negotiations between Russia and Ukraine continue
Stressing that Russia continues to commit war crimes in Ukraine, Zelensky commented that the Russian economy is still able to maintain its military machine.
“The world must finally officially recognize that Russia has become a terrorist state,” he said.
The Ukrainian president called on the international community to impose new sanctions on Moscow and to give more support to his country to stop the Russian occupation.
