The 1-inch CMOS mobile phone launched in 2023 is vivo’s X90 series. There are two models, X90 and X90 Pro, which will be officially launched in Hong Kong on January 12th. In terms of aesthetic design, the vivo X90 comes in blue and black, with a satin matte back cover; while the X90 Pro is only available in black, with a smooth leather back cover, and supports IP68 waterproof and dustproof. (X90 is IP64 life waterproof)
Both X90 series models use a 6.78″ 3D curved AMOLED Q9 screen with a FHD+ (2800 x 1260) resolution. In addition to supporting 1.07 billion color displays, it also supports 2160Hz PWM dimming, the 120Hz refresh rate and 300Hz touch sampling rate and features on-screen fingerprint recognition; both models are also equipped with dual stereo speakers.

With Dimension 9200 processor
The two vivo X90 series models launched this time both use the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 processor, becoming the first model series of this processor in Hong Kong; the other two models are also equipped with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, with no memory expansion function. Also, the X90 comes with a battery capacity of 4810mAh and the X90 Pro is 4870mAh. Both phones support 120W ultra-fast flash charging, and the X90 Pro also supports 50W wireless flash charging. In addition, both machines support 5G+5G dual card dual standby, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Wi-Fi 6 and are equipped with infrared remote control.

Camera with 1 inch sensor
The vivo X90 series places special emphasis on camera imaging technology. The main camera of the X90 Pro is equipped with a 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor, which supports a large aperture of F1.75 and anti-shake OIS; also uses a 50 -megapixel IMX758 sensor (1/1.49 inch) The vertical 50mm OIS lens and the 12-megapixel IMX663 wide-angle macro lens; the X90 is equipped with a 50-megapixel IMX866 standard OIS lens, a 12-megapixel IMX663 50mm portrait lens, and a 12-megapixel IMX663 wide-angle macro lens. Both models use a Zeiss T*-coated lens, which has excellent anti-reflection effect, and are equipped with a V2 image chip; the front lens is 32 million pixels and supports auto focus.
In addition, the vivo X90 Pro supports handheld starry sky mode. Thanks to the large photosensitive element and four-level CIPA anti-shake, it can take pictures of the starry sky without a tripod; the X90 is equipped with a new generation of VCS bionic spectrum main lens, which can mimic the human visual system. Noise is greatly reduced, and the colors are more accurate. In addition, the X90 series also adds Zeiss Cine-Flare portrait-style shooting and Zeiss miniature blur mode, which can shoot Lilliputian-like macro photos.

Vivo will release the X90 and X90 Pro in Hong Kong on January 5, 2023. The former’s suggested retail price is $6498, while the latter’s suggested retail price is $8688. It will be officially launched on January 12.
