The Chinese car manufacturer Zeekr has presented the Minivan Mix at the Beijing Motor Show – a family vehicle that has many interior transformation possibilities.
Zeekr Mix is the first model created on the SEA-M platform. This technical solution makes it possible to create large structures without central support, getting a wider cabin and giving a large access in and out. A combination is designed in this way, in addition, it is equipped with doors of integrated design: the side doors slide back, while the front doors on the right side open on a track arc, showing a wide unsupported central bay, nearly one and a half meters wide. Zeekr emphasizes that the innovation did not affect safety, and that the new Mix is able to get the highest score even according to the very strict American IIHS crash test standards.
The cabin has a flat floor with wide windows and a wide roof, the three-seater sofa has been moved closer to the rear axle, the central arm with tables can move longitudinally for the convenience of both passengers front and back, and the opposite. seats can be turned electronically by 90 or 180 degrees. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 3 m, which is only 4.7 m long, nearly 40 cm of ground clearance, and the cabin area is 6.3 square meters – the best indicator in the class.
