While “Sudden Lights” group is actively preparing for the Eurovision song contest, and ZeBrene is thinking about the next hits, the producer association YDJ has teamed up with producer and DJ Rodion Gordin to create a remix version of this duo’s song “Pasaule trīc”.
“We also work in the same place every day – in the “Labo reziku studio”, where our team member and mixer Jānis Kalve works, so it was completely logical to come to such cooperation. In addition, we know very well that Latvian DJs will be extremely happy about another remix of a popular Latvian song, because they regularly feel the lack of material played in their native language,” say producers Lotars Lodziņš and Rodions Gordins. “We are also indescribably happy that the producer Kaspars Ansons, with the permission of the author of the song, ZeBrene, was so responsive and gave us the vocals of the song so that we can work with them and remix them. Plus, we were allowed to express ourselves however we wanted!”
Both producers express their determination to continue their cooperation by composing and producing songs for Latvian performers, as they believe that cooperation has a future. “You don’t need to sit in your “lone houses”, but cooperate, because the creativity and amount of ideas grows exponentially,” the two producers express their firm conviction.
