The mysterious domestic musician ZeBrene came out with a new song “Olimpicas zelts”, which this time he collaborated in a duet with the host of the event, showman Renaras Zeltina. A video was also made for the single.
The message of the song “Olympic gold” lies between the prevailing stereotypes and the life we live in reality, because this is often why we say one thing to the public, but in reality we do another. “Sturdy height is like a tool to increase market value. But if you have a million in your pocket, you don’t need strength either. We all want to be healthy, sporty, but these are not always our true and true desires, but what we follow is encouraged by the influence of society. For example, if a man says he’s going fishing, it doesn’t immediately mean he needs a fish, or if he goes to the gym, it’s probably not for his health,” he explains mysteriously ZeBrene. But it’s better to listen to his explanation in a song, he will tell everything much better.
A very interesting video was also made for the single, which underlines the message of the song perfectly. “People often try to buy some sort of magnetic butterfly to attach to their stomachs because the ads say it’s the magic key to a solid ‘six pack’ and that way they will be able to get a golden body in a much shorter time.” Here, ZeBrene also understands in the clip that he just needs to drink the drink advertised for him, and all the problems in the world will be solved, because all he needs is a drink and a beautiful woman from “TV Shop”, the musician he jokes. The video was created in collaboration with the video studio “Later”, it was directed, filmed and edited by Elvijs Pārpucis and Rihards Gēcis. The creators of the video also thank the actress Elsa Zālīte and “MyFitness” for the opportunity to film at the gym.
ZeBrene usually creates interesting duets in his songs, and this time it was done with the showman Renārs Zeltinas for a very simple reason: what this song needs is encoded in the title, so we had to look for a person with gold in the last name. “I was extremely surprised when I was approached, as I am aware of my vocal abilities, rather should I say – lack of tuition. However, the producers told me that even a bucket can be made to sing, so I trusted and decided : I am this bucket. In general, I am mostly open to new challenges, because I like them, they give a new dimension to life. I really liked the whole frame, in which the record was made: ZeBrene put everything professionally on the shelves, arranged it according to the notes and the result was nice. We had fun while shooting the video, immersed ourselves in a bubble of joy and enjoyed the process as much as we enjoy the result now” , says Renārs Zeltiņš.
