JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV – The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya again held Operation Zebra Jaya 2021 starting today, Monday (11/15/2021).
Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Sambodo Purnomo Yogo revealed that the zebra operation will be held for 14 days, to be exact until November 28.
According to Sambodo, in this operation, his party will not conduct raids at the location.
“There will be no raids in the 2021 Zebra Jaya operation, because it will cause a crowd,” said Sambodo, at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (12/11/2021).
“Because we are still in a pandemic, we prioritize persuasion and humanity to the community to improve health protocols, even if there are violations, we will take action,” he said.

Enforcement, he continued, prioritizes mobile law enforcement by patrolling the protocol roads.
“We will carry out law enforcement on a mobile basis using mobile patrol units and will take action if violations of UULAJ are found.”
The Zebra Jaya 2021 operation involves a joint apparatus from the TNI, DKI Dishub, and DKI Satpol PP agencies.
Furthermore, Sambodo said, Operation Zebra was still focused on enforcing public health protocols, considering that currently Indonesia was still in the Covid-19 pandemic situation.
