ZDF television council: “Ensure that something like this doesn’t happen again”
On Sunday afternoon, the ZDF television council published a tweet “on its own behalf”. “This account communicated in a way that in no way does justice to the tasks, the self-image and the customs of the committee.” It is ensured that something like this will not happen again. “Sober, appreciative communication is a prerequisite for the discourse that the TV Council always advocates,” it concludes. In its statement, the TV Council did not explain how the strange nightly tweets came about and who sent them off.
