ZDF shoots a new two-parter – Oddsmeter.de

In the Italian region of Veneto, filming is currently taking place for a two-part series with Désirée Nosbusch, Leslie Malton and Suzanne von Borsody.

ZDF has commissioned Bavaria Fiction with a new two-part series, which is currently being shot in Veneto, Italy. For «Intoxication of Life» (Working title) Doris Zander works as a producer, while the ZDF editorial team is held by Katharina Götz. Désirée Nosbusch, Leslie Malton and Suzanne von Borsody play the leading roles in front of the camera. Other roles include Rainer Bock, Sven-Eric Bechtolf, Hilmi Sözer, Lilly Charlotte Dreesen, Alina Levshin, Hannes Wegener, Antonia Bill, Anton Spieker, Jörg Schüttauf, Oliver Mommsen and Susanne Wuest.

What is the story staged by director Sabine Derflinger about? Julia (Malton), Ricarda (Nosbusch) and Constanze (von Borsody) are connected by the traditional distillery “Preus’ Hohe Prozente”. Julia is the twin sister of Karl (Bechtolf), the patriarch of the family business. Ricarda is his wife, Constanze his ex-wife. But love for the head of the family is the only thing the three of them share. When Karl dies unexpectedly, well-kept secrets emerge and it seems impossible to reach an agreement on his inheritance. A fight breaks out that divides everyone involved: The effects of Karl’s machinations are plunging the family more and more into ruin? the next generation, Ricarda’s daughters (Dreesen, Bill), Julia’s son (Wegener) and his wife (Levshin), seem doomed. But Julia, Ricarda and Constanze fight, each in their own way, to free themselves from the past.
