British artist Zayn Malik released his new song, “Love Like This”, today, Friday, via “YouTube”, attracting more than 5 million views, just 5 hours after it was released on the platform.
The song, which Malek promoted several times through his Instagram account, was directed by Ivana Boren and Frank Boren, and was filmed in New York. It is his first single for Mercury Records.
The song is Malik’s first, after an absence of two years, since his third album in 2021, titled “Nobody Is Listening”. It seems that Malik is pursuing a policy of releasing albums with a difference of two or three years as a maximum, as he released the album “Icarus Falls” in 2018. As for his first album, “Pillowtalk”, it was released in 2016, after his separation from the “One Direction” band.
The clip depicts a love story between him and his beloved, as they gather romantic clips that end with a scene in which Zain leaves, expressing his inability to return. The video also includes a fictional scene in which Zain and the girl who shares the clip fly over New York.
Malik sent a message of thanks to everyone who contributed to the completion of his song, and posted on his Instagram account a video clip from the scenes of the clip, commenting: “Thank you for all this love… nothing is possible, without you… I cannot describe to you the extent of my happiness and gratitude… my peace and love.”
