Zayn Malik (30) remains single for the time being! After the former One Direction star and model Gigi Hadid (28) welcomed their little daughter Khai into the world, sad news made the rounds in 2021: After more than five years of relationship, the two separated. Since then, the singer’s love life has been quite quiet – Zayn was only said to have a romance with Selena Gomez (31) a few months ago. But Zayn doesn’t want to have a woman by his side in the near future either!
His mom Trisha Malik reveals this to Mail Online. “Zayn’s energy is focused on being a good father and working for Khai and that’s not going to change anytime soon,” the 53-year-old clarifies. Although the women are queuing up for him, Zayn is not interested in a relationship, as Trisha also emphasizes: “He is a good-looking boy and many women are interested in him, but at the moment he has no head for it.”
Trisha also reveals how the co-parenting between the 30-year-old and his ex works: “It works very well, they are both wonderful people and parents.” Despite the separation, she still appreciates her ex-daughter very much: “She’s a great girl, I still like her a lot and it’s a shame it didn’t work out for her, but that’s life.”
