Abu Dhabi, 8 October / WAM / Zayed University participates in a number of education fairs held throughout the month of October with the aim of displaying the available academic programs and attracting international students looking to join the university.
The university participates in the Najah Education Fair in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, the Emirates Education Fair, run by Times Higher Education, in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and the International Education Fair in Sharjah.
Participating in educational exhibitions gives students the unique opportunity to interact with experts and specialists, learn about registration procedures and explore the innovative teaching methods used at the university, in addition to providing advice and guidance on how to better prepare themselves for their bright professional future.
The number of Zayed University students enrolled in the current semester has more than doubled the number compared to the fall semester in 2022, and the number of students enrolled in the university’s sustainability program has increased to 140 percent as a result of the increasing trend towards concern for the environment in the country, especially with the approach of the COP28 Conference of the Parties. Which will be hosted by the UAE in the coming months of November and December.
Dr. Michael Allen, Acting Vice Chancellor of Zayed University, said: “The increasing demand for our university programs reflects Zayed University’s dedication to achieving excellence and continuous innovation. We realize the importance of choosing a university major for young people, and therefore, our participation in international education exhibitions is necessary to showcase our academic programs and the opportunities we offer.” For students, with the aim of securing job opportunities for them after graduation.
Students will be able to choose between 4 “interdisciplinary” programs, including “Business Transformation,” “Computing Systems,” “Social Innovation,” and “Sustainability,” to obtain new academic degrees that aim to give them a broader range of theoretical and applied sciences to accommodate their chosen specializations in the form Which guarantees them the necessary skills to enter the labor market and advance their careers after graduation, and is taught using innovative learning techniques.
Zayed University continues to offer a wide range of arts programs through the College of Arts and Creative Industries, which include: animation design, graphic design, interior design, visual arts and multimedia design.
During their academic journey at Zayed University, students will also participate in the “Partners Challenge” program, which specializes in integrating students with local and international companies, conducting scientific studies and research, applying their outputs by developing appropriate solutions to the challenges facing companies, and measuring their outputs by academics and specialists.
