Cairo,Egypt – The ninth annual Zayed Charity Run,held recently in Egypt’s New Administrative Capital,shattered previous participation records,drawing over 50,000 runners of all ages and abilities. the 10k race, starting near the iconic tower and finishing at the Al-Fattah Al-Aleem Mosque, was a resounding success, raising important funds for a worthy cause.

Ismail Al Khorshi (also from Morocco) secured second, and Salem Mohammed Salem claimed third. In the women’s 10k, Wafa Zarul finished first, followed by Yusra Nasour and Amna Bakhit.
The Paralympic categories also saw notable performances. Islam abu Ali won the 4k speed chair race, and Haitham Adel triumphed in the pedal chair category.
“The Zayed Charity Race is one of the valuable charitable initiatives offered by the UAE to all brothers and friends, as it bears a name dear to everyone’s hearts, and overflows with its goodness to every place it reaches,” stated Dr. Sultan Saif Al neyadi, highlighting his participation and emphasizing the importance of sport for a healthy lifestyle.
