He has been at the forefront of the spectator competition since the beginning of the festival, yet his championship was uncertain until the last moment. The drama about the Srebrenica massacre, which won an Oscar nomination, Quo Vadis, Aida, was on his heels? In the end, with a narrow difference, it ended up in the second place of spectator interest.

According to the festival, the Audience Award of the daily Právo is one of the most important awards. The voting and evaluation of festival spectators is one of the first significant signals for producers and distributors of films, how successful the film will be in regular distribution. This year, people voted for 52,789 ballots.
–
And how does the evaluation work? Cinema visitors vote on their best film through paper tickets. They mark the film they watch in the same way as at school: the best is 1, the worst is four.
–
They always receive paper ballots before entering the screening hall. Tickets are handed out before each film. After its end, ie when leaving the hall, they then hand over the marked ticket to the hostesses, or they can throw the tickets into special boxes at the door.
