According to the words, the Ministry of Tourism is implementing timely measures to minimize the negative effect of the military actions in the Middle East. “Advertising for tourist products in Bulgaria is aimed at Great Britain, Ireland, the Scandinavian and neighboring countries. Through digitalization, we are promoting Destination Bulgaria for four seasons,” Minister Dinkova said.
Regarding the budget, she commented that BGN 2 million more was received compared to last year, which means the implementation of targeted plans. “With constant talks with the Ministry of Finance, we were able to keep the rate of 9% for restaurateurs until the end of the year and for tour operators until June,” specified Zaritsa Dinkova.
“We work very well with the representatives of the winter resorts. We are planning interesting initiatives before the World Ski and Snowboard events and show that tourism is increasingly competitive, investments in innovations and new technologies are needed to attract more tourists,” Minister Dinkova pointed out.
