The growth of Polish tourists in our country in 2023 is 16.8%, compared to 2022. “According to preliminary data from tour operators, the reform that we launched for the marketing strategy for the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast will increase interest in Bulgaria,” said Minister Dinkova during the working meeting with Piotr Boris, State Secretary at the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of Poland.
The preferred destinations for Polish tourists in our country are the municipalities of Sofia, Varna, Nesebar, Primorsko, Tsarevo and Balchik. “In the past year, within the framework of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the tourism departments of Bulgaria and Poland, we held expert meetings to exchange experience on priority policies for our country, such as the Tourist Guarantee Fund, digitalization in tourism and organizations for the management of tourist areas” , added Minister Dinkova and expressed hope that the inter-institutional partnership will continue in the future.
“My team and I will continue to work on the implementation of the commitments made in the Memorandum. The good cooperation and understanding between the two countries in the field of tourism will continue in 2024,” said Pyotr Boris.
