SPIELBERG, KOMPAS.com – After calling Johann Zarco and Franco Morbidelli, Thursday (21/8/2020), END MotoGP Steward decided Zarco guilty of the incident at last week’s accident.
After reviewing all available video evidence, three panelists consisting of Bill Cumbow, Freddie Spencer and Ralph Bohnhorst, found Zarco guilty of being negligent during the race.
“You were found driving a motorbike in an irresponsible way that caused the accident,” Steward wrote, quoting Crash.net, Friday (21/8/2020).
The penalty on Sunday Zarco will be start race from the pit at GP Styria, Austria, on Sunday (23/8/2020).
“For the above reasons and taking into account the seriousness of the offense, MotoGP Steward has issued a penalty for you, starting from the pit for the next (race),” he said.
